Stop and Smell the Roses

Today I picked these roses from our garden. I think they are a David Austin Rose. They were already here when we bought the place and grow really well in Melbourne (nothing to do with me, luckily for them), everytime I walk past, I stop for a snif......they smell like sweet lemons. I thought they would fit in with Good Life Wednesday on Sarah's blog.

The lamp is made from Himalyan Rock Salt. It is supposed to have soothing properties and cleanses the air, two things that are always needed around here!!

I just like it 'cos it's purdy...............

  3. Oh my gosh! What beautiful flowers you have! We have snow right now, so your roses are as close as I am going to get to a flowering garden for a few months.

Thank you for sharing your roses!

  4. Thanks Kelly, we are on clay here, so roses (and just about everything else) grows really well. I don't have much of a green thumb, but I do have a great appreciation for the garden.

  5. Lovely roses -- you are enjoying summer weather while the middle US is having an "extreme" winter. Looking forward to spring!
