Sunset in St. Kilda

It has been Easter school holidays and we have all been sick, but thankfully, everyone is on the mend. We were all in need of some fresh sea air, so Mr 3P and I loaded the pickles into the car and head to St Kilda for a sunset stroll along the board walk.

This dog was never going to give up on that stick.

See all those container ships on the horizon? I wonder what they're carrying?

If you want to live here you will need some "serious coin" as Mr 3P so perfectly puts it.

Don't you love how silhouettes hide the wrinkles?

My lot would probably be quite happy to live as beach bums.

My beautiful family. What a lovely afternoon, just doin' nothing but hanging out with the most important people in the world.

Arboretum

Our local arboretum was destroyed last year by vandals. Last week we went to the opening of the new park at the arboretum. The pickles had a ball. The park has a medieval/castle theme with so much for all ages.Pickle #3 wasn't too sure about this beautiful fairy at first, but warmed up to her eventually.
We went back to the park with the cousins last Saturday to find that the fairy has been removed or stolen (not sure which) :(
I love scrapbooking, but just never seem to find the time (or have the patience) to get much done. My new solution is a little digi scrapbooking....or at least, some collages. I've been making quite a lot of these as they're quick and easy (yet to be printed). Add to the list..........
I hope the vandals stay away this time, so my 3 little pickles and their friends have a chance to enjoy this beautiful park for a long time.

Train Park

The 3 pickles spent a warm, sunny, Melbourne afternoon with their cousins at a nearby train park. There are still 2 weeks left of the school holidays, so I'm sure we'll be back.

If dandelions were hard to grow, they'd be most welcome on any lawn. anon

I'm running out of ideas. What do you do on school holidays to entertain the kiddlywinks..that doesn't cost the earth?
