Hi there, how was your weekend? Mine was relatively non-eventful, just the way I like it.
The 2 older pickles went back to school this morning after 2 weeks of (full on) school holidays. We did a lot of "stuff" and I AM TIRED!!!
Nobody told me having 3 kids would be so exhausting, they get up in the morning and hit the ground running and they don't stop until forced to go to bed.
Don't get me started on how much food they consume....machines, they are...I tells ya!!
Is it like that at your house?
So, I'm not sure where to start this morning & after sticking something in the slow cooker and the washing machine, I've decide to sit on the sofa, not look at any mess, have a coffee and tell you about a little giveaway I'm having today.
It's all about hair...again.
You know how much I love hair products.
Do you love them too?
It's fun being a girl.
Yep, I'm a girly girl whenever I can get the chance.
Because it's all males in this house I've missed out on the playing make-up, dress up and girly tea parties. So it's DIY. lol
By the way, here's my latest "do"...I've gone a little lighter and had the layers thinned out a bit more. Because it's very thick, if I let it go too long between cuts, it goes all witchypoo.
What do you think?
How about you? Are you planning a change in hairstyle or colour for the Spring/Summer months?
If so, this giveaway will be right up you alley.
With summer just around the corner, the warmer months often call for a change. Body blitzing, health kicks and hair overhauls are all part of summer prepping, and sometimes knowing what to focus on most can be overwhelming. Nice’n Easy and Wella Pro Series are here to make summer prep easy, with their summer style pack.
I'm giving 3 readers hair a fresh summer start with a Nice’n Easy and Wella Pro Series summer style giveaway. Each pack will contain one Nice’n Easy hair colour in a shade of choice, and a Wella Pro Series Colour shampoo and conditioner.
Nice’n Easy:
Anti-flat colour is all about hair that sparkles in the sun and looks alive with energy and personality. Nice’n Easy shades work hard to deliver natural looking colour in the comfort of your own home. Each shade has the right level of dimension to ensure 100 per cent grey coverage, without making the colour look flat.
Wella Pro Series Colour collection:
71% of women colour their hair, and therefore requires special treatment since colouring makes it more vulnerable. Preserve the vibrant, healthy look of hair shades with Wella Pro Series Colour which intensively nourishes, protects against breakage from combing and styling and leaves coloured hair soft and shiny.
How to enter: (Aussies only sorry)
1. You need to follow 3pickles on at least one of the following:
2. In the comments, here on the blog, tell me, who is your celebrity hair "idol" and why.
Entries close Friday, October 12th, 2012 at midnight (Melbourne time)
The 3 winners will be announced here on the blog, this Saturday, October 13th, 2012.
Good luck.
Nice do Marnie. Just as long as you don't put dinner in the washing machine and the washing in the slow cooker, as I might do some days, you'll be right! Back to school here too. Huge sigh! LOL I'm not a fan of her as an actor but I love how Nicole Kidman can get quite a few different looks with her hair which I believe is naturally extremely curly. I wish I had my own live in stylist to do my hair. I'm having my hair cut next week. Its only been 12 months since I've had a proper do. Not bad really, don't ya think? LOL (Already a huge follower!)

WOW! I find this as an interesting one. I do love styling, fixing and coloring my hair. Never tried using those products and I think it is good to use. Thanks for the share.
ReplyDeleteI do like your 'do'...I wish I could also say I have gorgeous thick hair, except I can't because I don't. In fact I have thin lifeless black-should-be-dark-brown hair - dyed of course! I think my hair could use a serious 'make-over'. I used to use straighteners but don't even bother anymore as I need the little body having a wash 'n go gives me.
ReplyDeleteI have an appt to get my hair cut (from shoulder length to short) and a strip of colour and a new colour put on. Professionally. Not sure I will go through with it though...I'm still trying to convince myself it's a fortune well worth spending. I do however go for what is called a "hot scissor" cut. The stylist uses heated (plugged-in) scissors which seals the ends when it's cut reducing split-ends and extending time between cuts to about 10-12 weeks. Great give-away!
i love delta goodrams hair, it's just like mine long and wavy but not curly or straight either the product i love to use in my hair is sea salt :)jennifer abson.
ReplyDeleteP!nk, I love her funky blonde do, I wish I had the time and the money to have mine the same way, but I would have to have my roots done every few weeks to keep it looking fresh and hot!
ReplyDeletel love Nicole Kidman hair. Love the hair and the style. Her hair always look good and heathy.
ReplyDeletei love katey perry and all her wacky and colorful hairstyles, she seems to absolutly have fun with all her different styles and that really says something great about her personality :)
ReplyDeleteI love Catriona Rowndtree from getaway, her hair is always so lovely and shiny and never looks out of place.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Aniston (friends days)- I had her hair for years thanks to an amazing hairdresser. But I now choose my on styles.
ReplyDeleteEvangeline Lilly!! She is so stunning and has the most amazing hair! It's always so shiny and with those amazing big loose curls it's pretty hard not to be jealous! I've always wanted curls like that,or at least a bit of a wave, but no, my hair is dead straight.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of your hair, I'm trying to get mine back to that for summer. Made the mistake of doing it black, then deciding I wanted be blonde again - long, slow process! I know what you mean about having 3 kids, I have 3 (one of them being a clingy, teething baby) and the days just fly by here with nowhere near enough hours to do everything I need to!
Lady Gaga! I love her eccentric style and her willingness to change her hair colour and style on a whim!
ReplyDeleteReese Witherspoon - long or short she always wears it with confidence.
ReplyDeleteI like that she changes it up while keeping it simple.
Her style is what I would love!
I love Mila Kunis' hair because it's so simple and luscious
ReplyDeleteBeyonce - curly or straight, her hair always looks great!!
